Project Overview
2M Creative was engaged to design the new Midas store at Eastland Shopping Centre, creating a contemporary retail environment that reflects the fashion-forward identity of the brand while delivering a memorable customer experience.
The design centres around a dynamic composition of angular forms and meandering feature elements that guide customers through the store and create visual interest from multiple viewpoints. Rather than relying on conventional retail planning, the space introduces a series of sculptural moments that help define product zones while reinforcing the premium nature of the Midas brand.
Angular display elements and carefully considered sightlines create a sense of movement throughout the store, encouraging exploration and enhancing product discovery. These bold geometric forms are balanced by flowing feature details that weave through the interior, softening the environment and creating a cohesive design language that connects the various merchandising areas.
A refined material palette, integrated lighting and carefully curated finishes work together to elevate the presentation of footwear and accessories while maintaining a clean, sophisticated retail aesthetic. The result is a highly distinctive retail environment that strengthens brand identity, enhances customer engagement and provides a flexible platform for ongoing visual merchandising initiatives.
